This is a Hazel Ogham rune set of handcarved staves. Each stave has a carved Ogham character on it representing a tree, and each stave is woodburned with a picture of the corresponding tree. The trees are also painted with eco-friendly woodstains and each one has been rubbed with linseed oil and natural beeswax. This set came with a sumptuous emerald green brocade bag with a gold cord for storage. This set sold for big money on Ebay, which was a very happy surprise for me.
Hello, I am in Montreal for now, I lived in Bunnaby for 3 years miss it. Your crafts are mesmerizing and exceptional ! Do you have any Ogham fews left for sale ? I am being tortured by unwanted gosts/spirits who bother me and my boyfriend ( past 10 years) therefore I need a few items and any help you are guided to offer. dragonower2008@yahoo.com
Absolutely beautiful work, and a great idea! I carve too, so it takes a lot to impress me. This idea of inscribing the corresponding tree with the symbols is simply charming. No wonder it sold quickly, and for big bucks! I'd definitely make this again, when you can, but at your own pace, and if you feel like it. You're one human, not a factory machine. It's important that you enjoy your work. Making many of the same item, again and again, kinda kills the magic it once had for you to create it in the first place. Money is great, but don't forget to pace yourself accordingly. That said...keep up the amazing work.
that's because they are AWESOME. These are gorgeous! I don't even read Ogham runes but I want a set of these! I would LEARN how to read them if I could have a set like this. I am faving this pic immediately.
