The Occult Shop by Sarah Lawless
I’ve been working on illustrations to sell as prints at both the Gathering and in the botanica. Some I mailed to friends so I'm waiting until they receive them before posting – want them to be a surprise! This one, "The Occult Shop"; I drew as an ink illustration in November of 2007, but didn't get around to finishing it 'til yesterday. Done in black archival ink with water soluble coloured pencils - I absolutely love those pencils, my granmother gave them to me when I was young and I treasured them so much I hardly ever used them and so still have them today. The saturated colour is just so much fun to work with! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
